Biographical notes
Born in Cetinje, Montenegro, Dado settled in France in 1956. Discovered in 1958 by Daniel Cordier, who showed his work in Paris, New York and Frankfurt, he developed a teeming world of hybrid figures and dense compositions in the vein of post-war visionary figuration. His work is represented in the Centre Pompidou, among others.
