Biographical notes
A leading figure of the Dutch modernist avant-garde, close to De Stijl and Constructivism, Piet Zwart was an interior architect, designer and graphic designer. His advertising for NKF and the Dutch PTT was groundbreaking. He took up photography in 1929.
