    Biographical notes
An internationally renowned designer and architect, Ettore Sottsass founded the Memphis movement in 1981, which revolutionised design with its expressive forms and bold use of colour. His collaboration with Toso Vetri d’Arte belongs to this experimental approach, combining traditional blown glass with a contemporary sculptural approach.
