Biographical notes
An interior architect, Charles Tassin founded the Galerie MAY on rue de Lille in Paris in 2012 with the painter Maylis Tassin. Their furniture and lighting, made by French craftsmen (marquetry, lacquer, ceramics, metal), carry on the spirit of the decorators of the 1940s.
Trained as a painter, Maylis Tassin turned to the decorative arts and founded the Galerie MAY on rue de Lille in Paris in 2012 with Charles Tassin. Their pieces, made by French craftsmen, carry on the spirit of the decorators of the 1940s.
