    About Barovier & Toso

A Murano glasshouse that grew out of the Vetreria Artistica Barovier, whose artistic direction Ercole Barovier took over in the late 1920s. Following the merger with Ferro Toso in 1936, it adopted the name Barovier & Toso in 1942. It is renowned for innovative techniques such as "Rostrato" (1938), glass worked in relief into multiple points, and "Pezzato".
