Biographical notes
Born in Paris in 1942 and a graduate of the École nationale des arts appliqués, Jacques Cinquin settled in Aubusson in 1967 on the advice of Robert Wogensky. He taught painting and later mural art at the town’s École nationale d’art décoratif. The circus is his favourite subject.
