Biographical notes
A French sculptor born in Orléans in 1933 who died in Béziers in 2020, Michel Bérard is best known for his bronzes and patinated metal objects with organic and animal forms. His sculptures of stacked wooden discs form a purer strand of his work, based on form, scale and material.
