Vladimir Karpoff

A dinandier (metal-hammering craftsman) active in Lyon from the mid-1930s, Vladimir Karpoff worked in the tradition of hammered metal so prominent in French interwar decorative arts. His pieces are distinguished by stylised scrollwork and frieze decoration.
