Vittorio Zecchin
1878-1947
A major Venetian artist of the early twentieth century, Vittorio Zecchin was artistic director of the Cappellin Venini & C. glassworks from 1921 to 1925, then of M.V.M. Cappellin in 1925 and 1926. He renewed the Venetian tradition of light, coloured blown glass with slender forms and subtle, strikingly modern hues.
