Vicke Lindstrand
1904-1983
A true pillar of Scandinavian glass design, Vicke Lindstrand worked first for Orrefors from 1928, then for the Upsala-Ekeby pottery, before becoming artistic director of Kosta in 1950. There he created iconic pieces with marine or stylised figurative themes, distinguished by clear forms, mastery of inclusions and a resolutely modernist approach.
