MVM Cappellin
Founded in 1925 by Giacomo Cappellin after his split from Paolo Venini, the M.V.M. Cappellin & C. glassworks played a central role in the renewal of Murano glass. After a brief collaboration with Vittorio Zecchin, it entrusted its artistic direction to the young Carlo Scarpa from late 1926, whose formal and technical experiments left a lasting mark on the glass of the period. The firm closed in 1932.
