Louis Süe
1875-1968
An architect and decorator born in Bordeaux, Louis Süe (1875-1968) founded the Compagnie des Arts Français with André Mare in 1919, one of the flagship houses of Art Deco. His refined style blends restrained modernity with classical references. After the war he continued an elegant, structured output, attentive to fine materials and architectural balance.
