Jessie Lim

Born in Singapore in 1954, Jessie Lim trained in ceramics from 1982 in the United States, notably at Dartmouth College and the Rhode Island School of Design. In 1988 she became the first Singaporean woman potter to hold a solo exhibition at the National Museum Art Gallery in Singapore. Moving from functional pottery to sculptural forms, she is represented in the Singapore Art Museum.
