Giulio Radi
1895-1952
From a family of Murano glass technicians, Giulio Radi was one of the founders of A.VE.M. in 1932 and became its artistic director in 1939. His research into metal oxides and the inclusion of gold and silver leaf and powders produced some of the most innovative pieces of Murano glass, until his early death in 1952.
