Gérard Voisin

A sculptor and poet born in Nantes, Gérard Voisin worked mainly in wood, drawing from it human and animal figures with curving forms and strong symbolic resonance. His studio, the Maison Bleue, is in Les Moutiers-en-Retz. He was named a UNESCO Artist for Peace in 2005.
